Organize your Report Groups with folders

In the Designer, each user in your company can create as many Report Groups as they'd like. After some time, it can become a bit cluttered with so many Report Groups to choose from, both when editing your Report Groups in the Designer or when creating proposals for your Clients. Report Group Folders can be used to organize the Report Groups.

Adding a New Report Group Folder

To create a folder for your Report Groups, go to the Designer, click on Report Groups. Then, click "+Add Folder", give the folder a name, and click Submit.

Once the Report Group Folders have been created, they will display on the top of the Report Group list on the left-side menu, and the Report Groups will be listed below.

Adding Report Groups to Report Group Folders

To add your Report Groups into the Report Group Folders, you can click on the name of the Report Group, and drag and drop the Report Group up and into the Report Group Folder.

Once the name of the Folder that you are adding the Report Group into becomes highlighted, just release the button and the Report Group will now be in that folder.

Adding Subfolders

If you'd like, you can also create folders within folders for further organization. Create a new folder, and then drag and drop the new folder into another folder.

Sorting Groups

If you need to sort your report groups in a different order, please click the "Sort Groups" toggle.

This will activate the sorting feature, allowing you to sort your report groups and group folders by clicking and holding on the three bars next to a group or folder name to change the order. The order of the Repot Groups is company wide, so if any users in your company rearrange the groups, the new ordering will appear in all users accounts.

NOTE: When the "Sort Groups" toggle is off, you can drag groups into folders, but you can’t arrange (a.k.a. sort) the order of the groups/folders list. And when the "Sort Pages" toggle is on, you can rearrange (sort) the list, but you can’t drag groups into folders.

Creating Proposals

When creating a proposal within a project, the you can select your desired Report Group within the Report Group Folder.
