Printing QR labels when Receiving Items into Stock

When an item is received into Stock, you can choose to print QR code labels for the device, to track the item through inventory. If you want the item being tracked to have a serial number, you must to enter it when the item is received. The item's serial number can be used for future asset and service tracking.

Whether the items have a serial number or not, it is these QR labels that are used to track the item's movement through the inventory and installation process. And ultimately, create a long-term connection to your Company that allows a user to scan the QR code at any point in the future to initiate a Service Case.

Printing QR labels at Anytime

As a best practice, we recommend labelling items when they are received.

However, you can print an item's QR code at any time by clicking on that Item on the Stock > Items page.

  1. Click on the specific item. Either the serial number is listed or N/A is listed for a group of items received at the same time without serial numbers.

  2. When the modal opens, then select Print QR labels.

  3. Click Submit, and you're all set!
