Report Groups are used to create the Proposals for your Projects and are saved in the Designer area of your account. However, there may be times when you'd like to edit the Report Group for just one Project without having to change the way the Report Group is saved in the Designer. Enterprise Users with "Design Report Pages" permissions have the ability to customize a Report Group within a Project.

Creating a Custom Report Group

To create a Custom Report Group, open your Project, navigate to Reports, and click "+Add Report". In the window that pops up, you will see a list of all the available Report Groups saved in your account. By hovering your cursor over the name of a Report Group, you will get the option to edit it.

In the next window that pops up, you will have the opportunity to name the Custom Report Group to be used again in this specific Project. Note: This custom group will only be available in this Project.

On the left side of this new window, you'll see a list of the pages that are currently included in the Report Group you are editing. On the right side, you'll see a list of all the available Company Pages saved in your account. A dropdown menu gives you the ability to filter the type of available pages.

From here, you can choose to either add or remove pages to/from the Proposal.

Adding Pages

To add a Company Page to the Group Contents, you can drag and drop the name of the page from the available Company Pages (on the right) to the Group Contents (on the left). Pages that are already included in the Group will be greyed out and cannot be used again. You can determine the order in which the pages will appear in the Proposal by dragging the page name to the desired place in the list and dropping it there.

Removing Pages

If there are pages in the Group Contents that you do not wish to include in the Proposal, you can remove them by hovering your mouse over the name of the page you'd like to remove and clicking the trash can icon.

Once all of the pages appear in your preferred order, be sure to click "Save" at the bottom of the Customize Report Group window.

The Custom Report Group will now appear as a Report Group option you can select when creating a Proposal in this Project.
