Moving an item to its Final Location--part of the Stock module--will allow you to remove the item from Stock (and allow you to create an End-User Service case).
NOTE: After moving an item to its Final Location, the item will no longer appear in the Items area of Stock because it is no longer an inventory item. In other words, the item will be removed from Stock (but this can be undone, if needed).
Manually Installing Items to Final Locations
When you are ready to mark the items in your project as installed, you can head over to the Project>Stock page.
Here, you will see a list of all items in your project along with their current Stock locations listed in the "Status" column.
Filters on the left-side menu will allow you to filter by Room, System, Tag, or view items included on change orders.
Clicking the "Edit Items" button (in the top right corner or underneath the items list) will display checkboxes to select the items, and a dropdown menu on each line to select the Room to which the item should be installed.
The dropdown menu will default to the Room to which the item is designated in the Builder, which is where you will want to install the item (though this can be changed, if desired, by clicking on the Room name).
Once all items you wish to mark as installed have been selected with their respective rooms, click the "Install To Final Location" button located at the end of the item list.
After the items have been installed, the status column will update with each item's final location, which includes the Project name and the Room name, along with the green house icon.
Please Note: items that have not yet been marked as received and items that are already installed in their final locations cannot be selected.
