Let's say your cable comes in boxes of 500 feet, but you only need 250 feet for your project. How do you add that to your quote in Jetbuilt? I'm so glad you asked.

There are two main options:

1. Price your cable by the box, then just enter a decimal for the quantity.
For example, if 1 box = 500 feet, and this project requires 250 feet, you will set the line item quantity to 0.5. The price and cost will be calculated accordingly.

2. Price your cable by the foot. Divide the cost of the box by the number of feet included, then set the line item quantity to the number of feet needed.

For example, If the box price is $100, and includes 500 ft, then enter $0.20 for the unit price. Then set the quantity to the number of feet you will need. In the above scenario, your line item would have a quantity of 250.
