As you create your Value Spotlight campaigns, here are a few things to keep in mind:

  1. Target companion items - not competitors. Your list of target items should only consist of products that complement yours. The spirit of Value Spotlight is to recommend products that go well with the items the user is already planning to use, not to convince them to switch to your product. If we notice competitor products on your list of target items, your ad may be sent back to you for revision, or the competitor products may be removed.

  2. Focus on the value. Each spotlight campaign should offer some sort of value upgrade. Whether it's price, quality, ease of installation, utility, reliability, support, etc. we want you to showcase what your product has to offer, and how it will make your dealers lives better.

  3. Keep it positive. Your campaign should highlight the great things about your product. Keep your competitors in mind as you consider the unique value you offer, but please don't call them out in your ad copy.

  4. Spell Check. Please double check your spelling and grammar. We will review your ad before it goes live, but we don't want to make any corrections for you, as we may misinterpret your meaning. (Ads that are submitted with errors will be sent back to you, and require a second round of review.)

  5. Keep it brief. Say enough to get them interested, then lead them to your product site for more details. The maximum copy length is 450 characters.
