The Files section in your Projects and in Service Cases (for those subscribed to the Service module) allows you to organize and share files pertaining to your project like drawings, spec sheets, site photos, and photos uploaded by your Install and Service techs.
Navigating the Project Files
Upon selecting your Project, you can find your way to the Files section from the Navigation Bar on the left hand side.
Filters
You can use these preset filters to help you sort through the files that have been uploaded according to access and where it has been uploaded from.
Access
You are able to manage which users have access to your Project Files through the icons to the right of the file name.
Clicking on the icon will change the access permissions of that file. The categories of permissions are:
Project icon - Viewable by all Project platform users
Manager icon - Viewable by all Install and Service module managers
Tech icon - Viewable by all Install and Service module techs
Portal icon - Viewable by all Client Portal users
If no icons are selected, only Project Owner and Company Admins can view the file.
Sources
Files can be uploaded directly to the Files section with the "+ Add Files" button at the top right of the Files section.
You can also find Spec Sheets here categorized under "From Line Items" or photos uploaded by Install Technicians in the JetbuiltGO app under "From Field."
