The Item Lock feature allows you to lock an item's price so it isn't affected by any changes made using the margin editing tools.

To lock an item, simply click on that item in the Builder to open the "Edit Item" window and you will see a small padlock icon over the item price field. Select the checkbox next to the lock icon, and click "Save."

You will now see a padlock icon on that line item in the builder, and any changes made using the Margin Worksheet or % Define Markups tool will not affect that item.
