Using the Project P&L Detail and Summary reports

Enterprise users can utilize the Reporting section on the left-side main menu to view Profit and Loss reports for projects.

Filters at the top of the report page allow you to specify the parameters for projects returned in the P&L reports. You have the ability to print the report or export it to a .csv file.

  • Select from a preset date range or choose the start and end dates

  • Choose to use the Project Created Date or the Project Close Date

  • Select which Team Members, Project Stages, and Offices to include in the report

Project P&L Summary

The Project P&L report displays the profit and loss information for all projects combined within the filter guidelines.

Project Base Price is the total price of all projects, which includes change orders that have been merged to the project.

Change Orders will include the total price for all change orders in all projects that have been marked as sold.

Project Total Price is the total that includes the base price for all projects plus the total of all sold change orders.

Also listed are the prices, costs, and profits for the equipment, shipping, labor, factors, and included service packages for all projects.

Project P&L Detail

The Project P&L Detail report displays the details for each project individually within the set filters.

Each project will be listed by project number and project name. The client, project owner, and project dates are also included.

Project Base Price is the total project price which includes change orders that have been merged to the project.

Change Orders will be listed individually and include the price for each change order that has been marked as sold.

Project Total Price is the total price that includes the project base price plus the sold change orders.

Also listed are the prices, costs, and profits for the equipment, shipping, labor, factors, and included service packages for each project.
