Editing Custom Products

To edit one of your custom products, go to Vendors>All Products>Custom Items

This will show you a list of all of the custom products that your company has created. Search for or select the item you'd like to edit.

Clicking on the product name will open the item detail page. Click 'Edit' to change any of the data attached to this item.

From here you can adjust the manufacturer, model number, part number, descriptions, pricing, labor values, technical fields, and the product image.

Please be sure to click 'Save Product' once you are done. The next time you add this item to a project, it will reflect the changes you made here.

Editing Products from your Company Database

To edit the products that are in your company database, go to Vendors>All Products and click on your Company name.

Search for or select the product you'd like to edit, click on the product name to open the item detail page, and then click 'Edit' to change the data attached to the item.

The editable fields of the database items include the part number, short description, long description, pricing, labor values, technical fields, and product image.

You cannot change the manufacturer or model name of database products.

Please be sure to click 'Save Product' once you are done. The next time you add this item to a project, it will reflect the changes you made here.

Note that these changes will not affect items that have already been added to projects in the past. If you need to edit an item that is already in a project, you must edit the line item within the project itself, or, after having made edits in your database, go to the project and use the pull functionality to pull in those new changes.

We hope this helps! If you have any questions, please reach out to us in support chat.
